Stephens funeral took place at Peel Green Crematorium on Friday June 24th at 1.00 pm. The service was well attended, so much so that there were many people who had to stand for the service.
The service was conducted by friends and family of Stephen as it was felt they also loved him and were best placed to talk about Steve, the effect he had on their lives and share in the happy times they had together.
The service was led by Justian Hansen-Harle with tributes from Jonathan Fenwick, Stephen Hill, Heather Paterson, Tanja Faccenda and of course Mark, his partner, on stage and in life.
As Stephen died as a result of a Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumour he was keen to help charities that work in this field so had asked for charitable donations instead of flowers at his funeral so immediate family tributes only but please click here to find out more about Stephens chosen charity.
